MISSION STATEMENT

The EBC Ministry of Caring provides hope for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one or any other form of loss.  We endeavor to be a source of love, comfort, encouragement and support through God's word as the bereaved journeys from mourning to joy and wholeness.

ABOUT US

The EBC Care Ministry meets every other month at 10:00 am on a Saturday.

The Care Ministry Team provides ministry to all who are experiencing any type of grief as we share in our meetings the information on stages of grief and how grief is a natural response to any type of loss or difficult change.  The source of all caring is God's love.  It is His will that in the midst of our pain and struggles that we will have hope for a better future and will discover resources in our faith that will enable us to learn and grow from our experiences.

Persons, who themselves, have experienced God's care in the midst of pain, will become channels through which God's love and care touch the lives of other people.  Also, it is our hope that by the reading of God's word, through Bible study, sharing with others, studying with each other and worshipping together we can find renewal and direction as we go through the grieving process.
